Charli's file was submitted for to the Ministry in Korea for an emigration permit on March 29, 2012. The first batch of submissions for the year had their emigration permits granted in two weeks and three days (not that I am counting). We have already passed that point but I remain hopeful that we will hear that Charli's emigration permit was granted yet this week. Tomorrow will be three weeks since submission. AFTER she gets her emigration permit her file goes to the U.S. Embassy in Seoul where she will get a visa. After the visa comes the TRAVEL CALL. I am still hoping for travel the first week of May but our agency is saying that might be an unrealistic hope on my part. Regardless I will continue to think positively.
We have long been trying to decide how to spell Charlotte Yeong Eun's nickname. We have known since we named her in November of 2010 that we would call her Charlie but hadn't committed to a spelling. I think we have decided on Charli.
We got new pictures last week and a well child report as Yeong Eun turned 22 months old. Yeong Eun is brilliant and beautiful...what else would expect from a Germann kid?!? The report says she is fully potty trained!! WOW - we expect her to regress some during the transition but the fact that she is trained already is HUGE. Guess we won't be back in the diaper business for long. I won't miss it.
